Use dxs devops create with a project, work item type, and title. Add an HTML description or UTF-8 description file, assignee, area and iteration paths, tags, a parent link, and additional fields with repeated --field NAME=VALUE options. The command returns the new item's ID, URL, and details.

Types and required fields depend on the project's process. Description content is sent as supplied without Markdown conversion; additional field values are strings. Duplicate fields and invalid inputs are rejected before the request.

dxs devops projects lists accessible active projects across all result pages. Add --search to match a case-insensitive substring of the project name. Returned names and IDs can be passed to --project when creating or querying work items.

Both new commands use default_devops_org or DXS_DEFAULT_DEVOPS_ORG when --org is omitted. An explicit --org overrides the default. Azure DevOps access still requires the existing Datex identity and permissions.
